Escape to nature and join us for our wedding weekend at Oak Lodge in Stahlstown, Pa. This Laurel Highlands Resort will be the location of our ceremony, reception, and has accommodations available for guests. To book a cabin please call the Oak Lodge office at 724.593.2913.

Directions

For those coming in from out of town, please read the following and contact Bill Amidon if you have any questions or concerns.

To those flying into the Pittsburgh Airport: Thank you for traveling all this way to come see us, unfortunately you have a little further to go. Just in case you did not check, the drive from the airport to the venue is about an hour and a half, so plan accordingly!

To those who have never been to Pennsylvania and used our turnpike system (I-76): I-76 is a toll road but the fastest way to travel across PA. If you'd like to avoid spending extra for travel, simply change the choice to avoid toll roads on most GPS aps (this will likely increase your drive time).

If you have never used the turnpike and are planning to do so, PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOUR EXIT IS COMING UP. Failure to do so will result in driving an extra 40+ miles just to fix the mistake, do not miss your exit!

Pennsylvania in October:

Winter jacket in the morning, t-shirt in the afternoon, PA weather can be finnicky this time of year. Be prepared, pack your dancing shoes, and check the weather before your departure!

Accommodations

Hotels

There are multiple hotels in the area of the venue. The largest concentration and closest ones to the venue are in Donegal, PA. Verify before you book the room that you are using a hotel in Donegal on the western side of the state, not the eastern side of the state (there are two Donegal's in PA.)

There are also a few hotels and bed and breakfasts in Ligonier!
