The Old Carter Barn is situated just north of Tunkhannock and has many things to do in the surrounding areas if you are coming from out of town. We have listed below some of the most popular dining spots.

The wedding ceremony and reception are at two different locations. Ample street parking and small parking lots are available in the vicinity of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church where the wedding ceremony will be held. Once we reach the end of the ceremony, guests are encouraged to drive to the reception venue, The Old Carter Barn, located on Lake Carey (a 10-minute drive). Directions are provided below and are also accessible via Google Maps and the iPhone Maps app to reach both locations.

Parking is permitted overnight at the wedding reception venue. Near the conclusion of the reception at 9:45pm, a shuttle will transport guests to the nearby hotels. The shuttle will then return to the hotels at 9:30am the following morning to provide rides back to the venue for guests to retrieve their vehicles. Please note that wedding guests will have a single opportunity to avail themselves of the shuttle service!
