As Berry Alumni, we pride ourselves on knowing the best spots for anything you could need. While Rome may be small, there is so much to do in our home away from home!

Directions

Accommodations

Hawthorne Suites

100/110 West 2nd Ave, Rome, GA 30161

A rustic old factory transformed into a beautiful old hotel. This hotel is going to be booked out for our guests! (Zach and Erin suggest the charcuterie board in the hotel restaurant)

Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk

320 W 3rd Street, Rome, GA 30165

Right across from the Hawthorne and Downtown Rome, this hotel is great (it’s also dog friendly!!)

Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Rome

90 Match Point Way NE, Rome, GA 30165

This hotel is right around the corner from Berry College and is actually where Zach and Erin quarantined when they had COVID.

Rocky Mountain Recreation and PFA Rome

4054 Big Texas Valley Rd NW, Rome, GA 30165

A gorgeous campsite on a lake with beautiful views (and only a 5 minute drive to the venue!)

Things To Do

Food

Food & Drink

Harvest Moon Cafe

234 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161

American-style food in a rustic, cute building. Plenty of drinks and food for everyone. It turns into a bar after 9pm and is where Berry students go to hang out. They have corn hole, darts and ping pong. Stop by the bakery after for cookies.

John Henry's Grill

233 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161

Southern food with an elegant twist, this place is amazing.

City Creamery

225 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161

The best ice cream you will ever have handmade every morning.

Blossom Hill BBQ

304 N Fourth Ave SW, Rome, GA 30165

The best type of atmosphere with amazing southern BBQ

Outdoor

Outdoor & Nature

Berry College

2277 Martha Berry Hwy NW, Mount Berry, GA 30149

Obviously we had to include the 27,000 acres of where we met. We recommend hiking up to the House of Dreams or the Reservoir, where you can see the Old Mill. The mile hike around Victory Lake is gorgeous and you'll always see some wildlife. Be careful of Berry deer, they will act as crossing guards. Ask the front gate for directions and they'll give you a map and point you on your way!
