Our Story
How We Met
Zach and Erin attended Berry College together where they met in music class their freshman year. After stealing glances, talking to their friends about each other, and adding each other on social media, Zach (finally) reached out to Erin. After their first meeting, they both knew there was something special. COVID provided its share of challenges for the two, but after lockdown, they both knew in their hearts that their connection was something more. Three years later, the couple was inseparable and knew it was time to take the next step...
The Proposal
For their senior spring break, Zach and Erin traveled to Jamaica with Zach's family. Unbeknownst to Erin, her engagement ring traveled with them. After spending a few days exploring Jamaica, the two were told to be at a family photo session on the beach at sunset to commemorate the trip. Once individual photos were taken of family friends, Erin stepped up for her solo photos. While her back was turned to the camera, Zach got down on his knee and the photographer told Erin to look back at the camera. Erin did not see Zach on his knee at first, but after a gentle 'Sweetheart please turn all the way around', Erin saw Zach kneeling. At first, Erin thought it was a joke, but Zach assured her otherwise. He told her that she was his best friend and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Through tear filled eyes (on both ends), Erin accepted.
