Our Story
How We Met
It all started almost a decade ago with a chance meeting at a friend's house. Jackie was a high school senior, and Antonio was a junior. Like most high school relationships, ours was a mix of awkward, exciting, and memorable. What began as a random hangout at a friend's quickly turned into a setup that led to our first date at the movies. Fun fact: it was Aunt Dianna's Christmas AMC gift card that got us there- something that's become one of our favorite things to do over the years!
Of course, no love story comes without its challenges. We had our ups and downs, a college breakup, and plenty of lessons learned along the way. But after finding our way back to each other, we took a leap of faith and decided to move to Boson- a far cry from our little hometown, but the perfect place to chase our dreams together. Now, at 26 and 27, we're living a life we never expected: one filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures.
Every step of our journey has brought us to this moment, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate it with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story and for sharing in the love and memories that have shaped our lives together. We can't wait to see you on the big day!
The Proposal
A couple of our favorite things to do are go to the beach and having picnics, so I figured I would combine the two and make a special day for the two of us. As we were leaving to go to the beach for a picnic, Jackie tells me she wasn't feeling the beach and asked if we wanted to go somewhere else. Instead of pushing the beach we change plans but still end up on the water. After our picnic Jackie has to get pictures of the landscape/water, even though we have been to this spot multiple times. This worked in my favor as Jackie was busy taking in the views and capturing the moment, I was getting ready to create a new one. Needless to say, Jackie did not see it coming as her first words to me were " Are you serious?". Now this spot holds an extra special place in our hearts, forever and always!
