We have a room block from September 12th - September 14th. We stayed at this hotel when we visited the venue and it was a great experience. Just minutes from Oak Lodge, the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail is a must for avid hikers. This 70-mile trail runs through diverse terrain, offering everything from rugged mountains to serene valleys. While the entire trail stretches for miles, you can easily hop on for a shorter hike and enjoy breathtaking views, scenic overlooks, and peaceful forests. Fall is the perfect time to hike here, with colorful foliage painting the landscape in vibrant hues.
Beam Rocks Trail
Looking for a shorter hike with a big reward? The Beam Rocks Trail is a quick 2.5-mile round-trip hike that leads to an incredible rock outcropping with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It’s an ideal spot to relax, take in the scenery, and capture some unforgettable photos.
Wolf Rocks Loop
For a slightly longer trek, try the Wolf Rocks Loop, a 4.5-mile trail in Forbes State Forest. For those looking to extend their adventure, the Flat Rock Trail follows Linn Run for a scenic and tranquil walk through the woods.
