The Setting
Historic charm meets modern sophistication! Located in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, Franklin on Penn was originally built in the early 1900’s as Franklin Savings and Trust Company, later became the home of Keystone Ribbon Factory, and is currently being renovated to become Pittsburgh's newest wedding venue and event space. There’s nothing quite like bringing the historic charm of a building and merging it with modern aesthetics and designs to create a space that is perfect for all occasion!
Upon entering the venue, your guests will be welcomed to the main event space where no detail goes untouched. The natural light pours making the entire space feel alluring, energizing and lively. It’s easy to envision getting married and celebrating with your most favorite people. The original columns surround the newly installed custom black and white dance floor where your guests will dance the night away. Modern chandeliers installed overhead provide the perfect mood lighting for the evening.
The built-in bar is on the main level and is in the space that used to be the original vault of the bank. The mezzanine level provides a perfect space for cocktail hour or people watching throughout the evening. It almost feels as if you are seated up there, you are a VIP enjoying the party with a front row seat. The space is truly masterfully and thoughtfully constructed with you and your guests in mind to ensure the best possible experience.
