Studio D2D is housed in a beautifully restored historic building, located just two exits south of downtown Grand Rapids, and has two grand Event Venues for you to choose from! The City View and Loft Venues were constructed in 1908 by Terrell’s Equipment Company as “Plant 2” for the Metal Office Furniture Company (later Steelcase). Both gorgeous venues feature exposed brick walls, original hardwood flooring, immense wooden beams, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. We have preserved the integrity of the building while creating a balance of vintage charm and sophisticated elegance. The industrial feel combined with the modern decor of chandeliers, and uplighting creates a picture-perfect event space.


The City View and The Loft at Studio D2D have been thoughtfully designed to accommodate events of all sizes, including up to 300 guests for receptions or 225 for wedding ceremonies. We have preserved the historic integrity of each location while creating highly functioning event spaces. Our venues have a rich history that has expanded with time to encompass your memories and special events.
