How We Met
We met on bumble, which is a dating app, in February 2021
The Proposal
Before you can hear the proposal story you need to hear some history! We used to meet up in Decatur, IN a lot because it was a halfway point from where I worked and where Lars works. We would go there and walk a trail and look for painted rocks. We also had gone to Maine in May of 2023. During that vacation we found a heart shaped rock that Lars decided to keep! So fast forward to our proposal, Lars decided to paint the rock we found together in Maine with a ring on it and put “will you marry me?” On the back! He placed it on the trail we always used to walk/look for rocks on and suggested that we go look for rocks! He had asked his friend Colyn to be there to take pictures and when I found the rock he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
