Our Story
How We Met
Liz and Tanner both attended ALJ Highschool in Clark, NJ - but somehow managed to miss each other until her sophomore year and his junior year. Once they found themselves in the same friend group, something just clicked.
They quickly became inseparable, finding every excuse to spend time together. One of their favorite early traditions was grabbing Wendy’s (because nothing says romance like a ten piece chicken nugget) and heading to the Winfield Park Waterfall. It became their spot in the summer of 2014 - a quiet place to talk, laugh, and just be.
Somewhere between the shared fries and those long afternoons by the water, something real started to grow - and the rest is history.
The Proposal
Tanner brought Liz back to the place where it all began - the Winfield Park Waterfall, where they first started falling for each other in high school. It was quiet, meaningful, and full of memories… and this time, he got down on one knee.
She said yes, and just like that, the place that started it all became the beginning of their next chapter.
By the time they say “I do,” they’ll have celebrated 11 amazing years together. From moving in together to supporting each other through multiple graduations and career changes, and becoming proud parents to their sweet pup, Lily - their journey has been full of love, laughter, and growth. And the best part? It’s only just beginning.
