How We Met

As much of a cliche it is, it was pure luck. When life takes you down strange roads and certain doors close, others open, and with that our mere paths wandering aimlessly in this void we call "the universe", crossed.
Be that as it may, the two of us didn't proceed to go out until much later down the road! Having met through a mutual friend at the time (thus a friend no more), we were still navigating our own curveballs life had to offer and still needed figuring out. Once all was said and settled though we found ourselves on our first date and in a long-distance relationship. Even if the distance could be daring at times thank goodness we both knew how to drive! And thank goodness Alex kept asking Elisabeth out even when she said no the first couple times around!
With every move we took from miles apart to a house in a new town together, we wouldn’t have it any other way in the end. It’s luck when you find someone who just gets you like no other else.
