Some love stories begin with fireworks—literally. On July 4th, 2021, Breanna found herself at a party she didn't want to attend, gently convinced by her mom with the words, “Come on, Breanna. You never know who you’re going to meet.” That night, surrounded by sparklers, laughter, and the hum of summer celebration, she met Joseph. His first words to her being, “You drink?”—and with a shared shot of Jameson Whiskey, the spark was lit. What followed was hours of conversation that stretched into the early morning, a connection that felt new and exciting.
Though they talked the night away, with nerves in the way he didn’t ask for her number. Even when fate brought them together again—this time through Breanna’s dad, who invited Joseph to help with a plane’s AC—he still didn’t make a move. So Breanna did. She found his number on her parents’ iPad and sent the first message.
From that moment on, they never stopped talking.
Their connection grew quickly and effortlessly. As they got to know one another, they realized just how closely their lives had already been aligned. Joseph had moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida from Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017. Just two months later, Breanna moved from Mobile, Alabama to the next town over—Destin, Florida. They had lived and worked in the same area for years, never meeting… until the exact moment they were meant to.
Their first date on July 31, 2021, sealed what their hearts already knew: this was something special. Something real. From that day forward, they built a love grounded in faith, joy, deep friendship, and the kind of laughter that echoes through every season of life.
On December 21, 2024, Joseph asked Breanna "Will you marry me?" with an ecstatic "Yes!" They shared yet another shot of Jameson this time to forever—on Sunset Rock in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and on November 8, 2025, they will say “I do” in Glenville, North Carolina, surrounded by the people who have cheered them on, prayed for them, and loved them through every chapter.
Bre and Joe know they met at exactly the right time—not by luck or coincidence, but by God’s perfect design. They are endlessly grateful for the path that brought them together and can’t wait to begin this next chapter—hand in hand, heart to heart.
