Brandon&Lisa
are getting married!
Please read the following FAQs about our event. Feel free to reach out to us should you have any questions.
When should I RSVP?
Please RSVP by 5pm on Saturday, February 15, 2025 so that we can provide an accurate headcount to our venue and caterer. Please be sure to confirm if you are able to attend both days/nights so that we may plan accordingly.
If we haven’t received your RSVP by the specified date/time, we will assume that you are not able to attend either day/night and we will not include you in our final guest count.
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be held in the outdoor gardens at the Dunbar House Inn, a quaint bed and breakfast located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, in the heart of the historic gold rush town of Murphys, California.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available throughout the entire city of Murphys, as well as on both sides of Jones Street (where the Dunbar House Inn is located).
Once you park your car, you will not need to use it or move it until you depart on Sunday afternoon.
What time should I arrive?
Our wedding ceremony starts promptly at 4:00pm, so please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.
What’s the dress code?
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up with us!
We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our wedding ceremony and reception, but please wear what you feel comfortable in, especially comfortable shoes, since both events will be held outdoors on the lawn.
Think of our event as a backyard, vintage, garden party!
Ladies, please don’t wear white or cream – that’s only for the bride!
Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?
We hired an amazing photographer/videographer team and they will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony.
We want our guests to be fully present and in the moment with us, so we kindly request that your phones be put away and on silent during the ceremony.
We are more than happy for you to take photos/videos once the ceremony is over; however, we also kindly request that you do not post anything on social media before we do.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the wedding ceremony, we will be taking photos with our family and bridal party around the venue for about an hour. During this time, guests can enjoy cocktail hour with drinks and appetizers in the Dunbar House Inn gardens.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!
Can I bring a guest?
We want our wedding weekend to be an intimate event with just our closest friends and family. If you received a "plus one," a note will be visible within your RSVP form in the "Anything You Want the Couple to Know?" box. If you see this note and would like to bring a guest, please enter their full name in this box so that we can make sure to include them in our final guest count.
Where can I stay?
We pre-reserved rentals/hotel rooms for all of our invited guests. We will provide you with the hotel information and how to book your room once we receive your "yes" RSVP.
