Our Story
How We Met
♥ He had me at hello ♥
Not really- He had me before that.
Like every modern day love story, Emily & Eric met on a dating app!
Emily saw Eric's profile multiple times and scrolled passed because she thought he was to cute for her! True Story!
One day he sent her a message and the rest is history.

After our 3rd date I never left his apartment. I just kept coming back everyday. In all honesty he must of thought I was a crazy person, driving over an hour on the highway everyday to be with him after only 3 dates, but here we are 5 1/2 years later with the same insane amount of love we've had for each other since the beginning.

Also, funny story..
The first "I love you" was from Emily.... after he cracked her back. VERY EMBARRASSING.
This was also our 3rd date.

Our lives quickly changed when we found out we were having twins, our sweet girls, Grace & Olivia.
We found a bigger apartment, had the girls, bought a house, got a bigger vehicle, got engaged, sold our first home, bought our second home. It's been a wild, crazy, busy few years, and we wouldn't change it for anything.

The Proposal
If you know us as a couple you know we do things a little differently than most people..
I (Emily) picked out the engagement ring, the PERFECT pretty pink ring.
(we agreed this was for the best)
When the ring arrived at our little red house, I knew it and the Jared's box was in my hands within seconds.
I WANTED IT!
Eric took it and said he wanted to do it the right way.. I couldn't even open the box to look at it until he proposed properly
He was obviously planning on doing the romantic stuff, fantastic, much appreciated..
BUT
I told him, to just do it!!
I wanted MY ring!
He hesitated, and made sure I knew what I was saying..
Then he proposed to me
right there in our kitchen.
It was perfect.
It was US.
