Cameron & Nancy Wedding Day Info!

Ceremony: 4:00 PM SHARP!

Hello! We are beyond excited that you will be joining in the celebration of our wedding. With the ‘Big Day’ coming up just around the corner, we wanted to share some details and important info with you.

The wedding will take place on Xanadu Island (35484 235th St, Battle Lake, MN 56515), a 4-acre island on Elbow Lake. Because the island is so small, there are limited parking spaces that will be reserved for the wedding party. For the rest of our wedding guests, please plan to park at this outdoor land plot just 1.5 miles away - off West Silver Lake Road (coordinates: 46°17'52.5"N 95°44'01.9"W). There will be a ‘back-woods style shuttle’ to drive you to-and-from your vehicle to the island. (Parking Lot Google Maps Link: https://goo.gl/maps/ARaa63qbDAKXsDsD8 )

Due to parking being off-site, please plan to arrive by 3:45 pm at the absolute latest so as to allow enough time for you to park, catch a ride to the island and snag a seat at the ceremony before Nancy walks down the aisle at 4:00 pm.

Schedule of events:
4:00 pm - Ceremony
4:30pm - 6pm - Cocktail hour: lawn games, print-making, mingling
6:15pm - 7:30pm - Dinner & Dessert
7:30pm - 10pm - Dancing & Doing whatever you want: lawn games, bonfire, etc.
10:00pm - Island Quiet Hours: aka ‘you don’t have to go home, but you gotta get the heck outta here!’

For our guests planning to indulge in libations - please feel free to bring your own booze and/or other drinks of choice! We’ll have a signature cocktail & mocktail for you to enjoy during cocktail hour, but there will not be a cash bar (and the closest bar is a few miles away in Battle Lake). We trust our guests to drink responsibly, but just to cover our bases: PLEASE DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE.

Lastly - We care more about you being present than being ‘presentable,’ so dress as formally or informally as you please! Keep in mind that the entire celebration will take place outdoors, so choosing comfy footwear and bringing a light jacket are highly encouraged.
