Our Story
How We Met
We met overseas when neither one of us were looking for love. It was an instant connection. I spent 30 years looking for a place to call home. Travelled in the military and had never found my place until I met Shaun. Everything changed from that day on and I realized that my ‘home’ was not a place, but a person. Even overseas, I felt that I was home. The last three and a half years hasn’t been easy. I left everything and moved across the country. We bought a home. Graduated college and started new jobs. Met a bunch of wonderful people and got engaged. I knew from day one that I loved Shaun and we’d spend the rest of our lives together. It’s been a journey so far and we are so excited to see where life and love takes us next!
The Proposal
Shaun asked me to marry him on Thanksgiving 2021, surrounded by our family and friends. it was a special moment to have the support of both of our parents and the people closest to us.
