Our Story
How We Met
Thank god for Tinder! We met like a decade ago and had a lot of fun but life took a turn and we went separate ways. Thankfully, with the help of social media, we reconnected. We realized early on that we very much enjoyed each others company and started spending more time together. Next thing you know we are buying a house together and building a life.
The Proposal
The proposal was pretty epic. From my (Steph) point of view, it had definitely caught me off guard. Joe wanted to go to Letchworth to see the falls, my favorite, so of course I am about it. This man was so all over the place that morning, of course I did not put any of this together until afterwards but now it makes sense! We stopped to get coffee in the morning, unbeknownst to me he is running into the jewelry store next door to grab the ring to bring with us. The entire car ride to Letchworth is silence. We immediately get there and he's like let's take a picture in front of the falls. Ok, sure! One minute we are standing there for a picture and the next I can see him move out of the corner of my eye so I turn and here he is going down on one knee! I swore at him (for those that have not seen the video- there is one and he loves showing people) because I was thoroughly shocked! It was emotional for the both of us and honestly, just definitely "us".
