Our Story
How We Met
We met through a friend when Haylee was just beginning college. For the four years Haylee was in college, we did long distance. We would take turns traveling back and forth every two weeks. The four and a half hour drives were agonizing, and that didn't include traffic. Thankfully, it was all worth it. Haylee's junior year of college we rented a cozy little beach house in Old Saybrook for nine months. This was a dream, and it allowed us to see a glimpse into what our future could be. After graduating from college, we began our lives together and bought our first home and now have our two fur-children.
The Proposal
Before the proposal, we talked about getting married. We decided we wanted to design the engagement ring together. We went into Jeweler's Row in Philadelphia and had the engagement ring custom designed with all the aspects we liked from our inspiration. Months later after the ring had been made, Noah proposed at Stonington Point, CT! There was a stunning water view and it was perfect.
