Our Story
How We Met
Stacey & Adam met in typical millennial fashion, on a dating website. Bumble matched them because of their tall statures, but they quickly bonded over their love for sports, cats and pizza. After spending over three hours talking, and closing the restaurant down on their first date, they both felt an immediate spark. By the end of the week, they were head over heels and there was no turning back.
The Proposal
On Friday, June 30th, 2023, Adam had an elaborate plan mapped out to surprise Stacey with a proposal. Predictably, Stacey (unknowingly) made the execution of this plan very difficult for Adam. From removing her nail polish the night prior to refusing to take a walk at Delaware Park in the smoldering heat. Begrudgingly, she took a stroll around Hoyt Lake with him. Refusing to stray from the path or halt the walk for any reason, Adam was forced to get down on one knee on the gravel path and pop the question. Caught completely off guard, Stacey said "YES!" and Adam's plan was completed successfully!
