Joseph and Sierra met briefly one afternoon in April (exactly two years prior to Joe proposing) at the Sap House, AKA Joe's first true love. Memorial Day weekend, Joe finally had the nerve to invite Sierra to the Sap House again to hangout. If anyone was there to witness that night, they are probably just as shocked as Sierra is to find them at the alter five years later. Sierra did give Joe a second chance that weekend to redeem himself and it's safe to say the rest is history. They talked every single day from that moment on. Joe would make the three-hour trip upstate faithfully every weekend to hang out. Sierra also made the trip a couple times to the Island where she met his friends, went on fishing and zoo trips and fell more in love with Joseph. August 1st 2020, Joe made it official and asked Sierra to be his girlfriend. Then they did life a little backwards and got pregnant with their beautiful daughter in January of 2021...yes only after 5 months of dating. Joseph somehow convinced the upstate girl to leave behind what she knew and experience life in the City. Sierra officially moved to Long Island in May of 2021, started a new job and began the next chapter of her life with Joseph by her side. 2021 was a year of changes and new beginnings. They moved into their first apartment together and welcomed their beautiful baby girl in October. Joseph and Sierra could not imagine having anyone else by their side to do this crazy life with and raise a beautiful little girl.
This took place in the exact spot where they met, exactly two years later; The Sap House. Joseph had convinced Sierra he needed her help turning on the water despite Vincent and Dan being there. While they were gone, Kylie changed Isabella into her outfit that stated, "Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?". When they returned back down to the house, Sierra saw the outfit change and turned around to find Joseph on one knee. Everything was perfect in that moment and there was no better spot to start the next chapter of their life.
