Our Story
How We Met
One fateful night we were out dancing with our friends at Arthur’s Barn in rural North Dakota. The boots were stomping’, the band was rockin’, and after watching me cut a rug all night, Reese knew he had to meet me. Our first date was a three day Rock/Country music festival, we danced the nights away and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
The Proposal
We were on our annual motorcycle trip to South Dakota (one of our favorite hobbies) surrounded by the beauty and peace of the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. What I thought was a simple photo-op on the edge, facing the beautiful landscape, turned into a moment we will never forget. Embraced in each other’s arms, Reese kissed me and told me he wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. It was that moment he stepped back, knelt down on one knee, and asked me to marry him.
