Our Story
How We Met
Our story starts in August in Charleston, South Carolina. I just moved there and Sam was just working his life away, and neither of us were looking for a relationship. We met at Saltwater Cowboy's, a bar in Charleston, and 12 and a half hours later it ended (the longest first date ever!!!) Fast forward a few days, a hurricane was rolling in; and if you know me, then you know I am absolutely terrified of storms. I asked Sam to come over to stay with me for the hurricane and he said yes. Sam drove through the hurricane to get there, then he showed up with SNACKS and NEVER left. We have been together every day since that storm.
The Proposal
A little over a year after we met Sam decided to pop the question. Sam had every little thing planned out (with the help of some family). He asked the "big question" at Cypress Gardens, where we went on our second date; where the boat scene in the Notebook was filmed. He asked and after I blacked out (lol) I said yes!! Then we had a little party afterwards with some of our friends and family to celebrate. Now we can't wait to celebrate our love with all our favorite people at our Wedding.
