How We Met
We met in October 2019, over Facebook. After texting for a few weeks, and had our first date for dinner at Slidin' Dirty in Troy, and then headed to the Field of Horrors. We continued to hang out and had another pivotal date when Ian invited Kristin to attend a local Marine Corps birthday celebration at TJ's Flightline Pub in Glenville.
The Proposal
The proposal day was such a busy day! It was Kristin's birthday, and we had the home inspection for our home that we purchased in April 2023, among a few other items on the schedule. Ian decided he had better do the asking early, before the day got too busy, and he proposed in the kitchen after we finished eating breakfast.
