Our Story
How We Met
Jake and Morgan met in early 2022 after talking on instagram. They went on their 1st date to One Ten Tavern in Palmerton, PA for trivia night. After a few dates, Morgan broke Jake's heart by deciding she no longer wished to date (on his birthday, according to Jake). They reconnected in June 2023 while Morgan was living in Tennessee for the summer. She came home for her cousin's graduation party and they went on a lunch date hours before she got on a plane to go back to TN. July 24th, 2023 Jake flew to Nashville to visit Morgan and the rest was history!
The Proposal
Jake told Morgan he thought they should go take photos for a Christmas card. Morgan immediately found this suspicious as Jake typically would not care about sending out a holiday card; however, on November 23rd, 2024 they got ready and headed out to a trail near their home. While they were on the trail taking photos they found a beautiful spot near a small waterfall. They set up the camera and started posing. Before long, Jake was down on one knee! This was only the beginning of a list of surprises to follow that day from family gathered at Morgan's parents' home to both families coming together for dinner. It truly was the best day!
