Our Story
How We Met
Josh and Alyssa met their senior year of undergrad through Cru, a Christian campus ministry on Wright State Universities campus. It was throughout that year, where they got to know one another better and establish a friendship. After undergrad Josh continued his education in industrial psychology and Alyssa was a first-year intern at WSU. Josh eventually worked up the courage to ask Alyssa out on a first date and the two went to Boston Stoker. This would mark the beginning of their relationship that would only continue to grow deeper in the months to come!
The Proposal
On Friday April 4th Josh got down on one knee at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering, OH and asked for my hand in marriage! This park has special significance for us as it has been one of our favorite date night spots to play disc golf, have picnics, and watch the sunset. After he proposed he told me that our closest family and friends were waiting for us at Olive Garden to celebrate together. It was such a special and fun evening being surrounded by our people! We are so excited to step into this next season together!
