Our Story
How We Met
Who would've thought something good would come out of 2020? Well, it did! As two twenty-something's living with our parents during the pandemic what else would we do besides go on dating apps? When we first met (outdoors, in a park) I remember thinking "I'm either going to marry this guy or never see him again" and here we are! After one loooooong year of long distance we drove across the country together to live as a little family with a cat and everything while I finished grad school and I am so grateful to Brando for taking the leap with me because my life would not be the same without him.
The Proposal
So I kind of knew it was going to happen but also didn't know right? All day little things kept happening that had me full of anxiety (in a good way) that he was going to propose. Like him booking a hotel in one of the most beautiful beach towns in Sicily without telling me, packing all my stuff up, and telling me to choose any restaurant I like for dinner, no price limit. Between that and him constantly checking his phone I knew something was up. Come to find out he was checking his phone to coordinate with a photographer since we were away and wouldn't have anyone to take pictures for us. Those are the pictures you see here and I think they truly capture the joy we both felt on that amazing day. The view was stunning, the weather was perfect, and I will always remember it as one of the most special moments of my life.
