How We Met
Taylor and I met the summer before my freshman year of high school and Taylor’s senior year of high school. We were on an overnight Native American field trip. He didn’t ask for my number until the very end of the trip.
The Proposal
Taylor bought my ring and went to my dad’s house to ask for his blessing. He then went to his mom’s house and told her what he was doing and showed her the ring. Then he came home around the same time I got home from work. I was opening our mail (one of my thousand Amazon packages) and when I turned around he was on one knee.
