Sunset Rock

Sunset Rock is a Highlands staple. A quick one mile hike with a great view of Highlands, NC at the top. The trail begins across the street from the Highlands Nature Center at 930 Horse Cove Rd, Highlands, NC 28741.

Whiteside Mountain Hiking Trail

Another Highlands staple, the Whiteside Mountain trail is a 2.5 mile hike round trip with an amazing view of the mountains of Western North Carolina.
