Our Story
How We Met
We met like most people our age meet nowadays, through a dating app. Bumble was where we were lucky enough to match with each other, and since women get to message first, I was twice as lucky that Lauren reached out! Neither of us wanted to wait too long to meet in person, so after a day or two I asked her on a proper date to BJ's Brewhouse. We met up and chatted for about 90 minutes before even ordering our food, so needless to say sparks were already flying and there was definite chemistry. That night concluded with a late-night walk around a pond and a kiss to seal the deal, the rest of the story is us falling in love more and more every day since!
The Proposal
What better way to propose than to go back where it all began, to the same BJ's Brewhouse we had our very first date two years prior! Though it seemed like just a normal date night, I had the engagement ring stashed carefully away in my pocket so my bride-to-be could not see the obvious box shaped object and totally blow my cover. We had a great meal and talked all about our past two years together and how much our love has grown. I waited until right before we left to pop the question, and then I got down on one knee, catching her completely off guard, and asked her to be my wife. We both cried of course, as McNally's do. I was lucky enough that she said yes, and now we get the privilege and honor of marrying our best friend.
