Our Story
How We Met
We met at Roth and Jessica's house for a game night (sister and brother-in-law). Roth had been telling Mark about this girl he had to meet, unbeknown to me. So one night, Roth and Jessica invited me over for what I thought was going to be just another game night and to my surprise this cute guy showed up. We had a very fun night and after a few more game nights, Mark asked me out on a date and we fell in love with each other.
The Proposal
One Saturday morning Mark insisted we go for a hike on the Hixon trail (where we went on our first date). I did not think anything of this because we go hiking all the time and the hike itself has a beautiful look out when you get to the top. Once we made it to the look out ,we popped a bottle of wine (a tradition when we go hiking) and I asked Mark if he wanted to make out and he responded with, I had something different in mind. He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring from his pocket and asked me to marry him. It was a very heart felt proposal but the whole time I wanted to interrupt him and say YES!!
