Our Story
How We Met
We met in August of 2022 at Azle Christian School. We were just classmates until January of 2023 when we started hanging out. We quickly became best friends and were together all the time. On November 3 2023 we became more than friends. Since then we have been inseparable. Mason would often hang out at Gracie's house and became buddies with her little brother Andrew. He was always asked to play Roblox and hang out with him. In October of 2024 Andrew passed. It not only affect Gracie's family but it affected Mason. We both walked through that grief together. We have had to navigate how this change has affect our lives and we miss our Drew Bear daily. Now while walking through that grief, we are now walking together into this new chapter of our lives. Even with everything we have gone through we know that God has amazing things in store for our future!
The Proposal
We went to Disney World for Christmas 2024. This was our first Christmas without our sweet Drew Bear. Gracie's Family decided to still go even though it was going to be bittersweet. On Christmas day we spent the day at magic kingdom. That night Gracie's little sister Isabel got in line to take a family picture in front of the castle. We all got in the picture and the photographer told all of the "kids" to close their eyes for Gracie's parents to kiss. While Gracie was closing her eyes Mason got down on one knee to ask the question! Gracie said Yes!
