Our Story
How We Met
Deer Valley Plumbing’s Co-Ed Softball league. Joe was supportive and encouraging….. My first real memory of him was his encouraging comment pointing out the fact that I did not know you started with 1 out and 1 ball in beer league softball.
The Proposal
Joe had the ring tied around Henry’s neck. Henry was pretty fluffy and I didn’t know it was there. We were doing a Chopped competition with the girls. I had just got back from the grocery store and wasn’t realizing it was on Henry. I finally noticed and thought the girls had tied something around his neck. I opened the box and found the ring. Joe was sitting on the couch and I went and sat down next to him and asked if he was going to ask. He said he thought it was implied but then asked and I said yes.
