Our Story
How We Met
We met when he made the decision to help out with her shifts so she would not get randomly placed with a partner, and it was a slow start to their relationship because they became friends first. He was there for her when she needed him most and it took her MONTHS to realize that. He knew what she needed in her life and that was laughter and to be loved properly.
The Proposal
The soon to be groom had planned to surprise the bride-to-be with dinner and with those who mean the most to them, but his planning had nothing on her intuition. She had worked the night before and he woke her up with enough time to get ready, but as she was waking up and in her sleepy state she had made the comment that he was proposing to her that day. He sat silently, and that was when she knew she had guessed right. He had been cooking a lovely dinner for her, her parents, his parents, and his sister for the majority of the day. After dinner they were all sitting around the table talking, laughing, and sipping on beer and wine. While that was going on, he snuck into the other room with his sister and grabbed the ring. When he came back to her side, he got down on one knee, and said "I hate that you got it right" and the rest is history.
