Our Story
How We Met
Steven and Kristin met one evening at a bible study held for young adults in the local area and members of Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at York College. We became very close friends right from the start. We had so much in common with each other that it made our friendship grow and become so strong that it lead us to this special day.
The Proposal
On October 21, 2023, Kristin and Steven went on a camping trip with their good friends Kristin and Cody Bentzel. They hiked up a long and beautiful mountain ridge that led to the Michaux State Forest Overlook, located in Fayetteville, PA. It was exhilarating and exhausting so they rested to take in the beautiful view of all the fall leaves. In the midst of their picture taking, Steven suddenly got down on one knee (right at the cliff's edge). Hidden amongst the trees was a surprise photographer who caught Kristin jumping with excitement (so close to the cliff’s edge) when she said yes. It ended up being the best hike ever and a day they will never forget!
