Our Story
How We Met
We always say it must've been fate on that April 2021 day...
Jenn flew in from Florida, hosted an early birthday dinner for Delaney, and then headed to Oakwood for Callan's first tournament game of the season.
Mike popped over to Oakwood to watch that same game.
So grateful for our mutual friends!
Quick introductions that Friday night, a little asking around the next day (and Mike came back for day 2), then drinks and dinner Saturday night. In no particular order, we booked walks, dinners by the shore, and more soccer games. Shared stories, met friends, and family, and simply and unabashedly fell in love.
We worked at blending our family, had a picture perfect family vacation on the Cape, and began to believe we could create a life that we had always wanted- together.
The Proposal
Mike's September birthday celebration turned in to a beautiful proposal on the beach in our very favorite spot...Jenn was completely caught off guard. It was even caught on camera by a bystander.
We soaked in every moment of that weekend in our own little bubble, biking all over the national seashore, and meals at our favorite restaurants!
