How We Met
We sat together at lunch the first day of PT school at Shenandoah University. Then proceeded to be paired in a lab group of 3 people for our ‘Examination & Intervention’ class. After spending most of our first year as friends, we finally decided to admit to ourselves there was something more. Eight years have come and gone, and we have never looked back!
The Proposal
With only two days between Christmas and my birthday, Mac somehow managed to sneak a proposal in! We enjoyed a nice dinner at Urban Wren, masked as a birthday dinner, followed by putt putt at Group Therapy (I won of course). After that we walked up to the Christmas tree in front of the Poinsett Hotel before he FINALLY popped the question! I said yes and we celebrated with a drink at Paloma to blast our friends/family with the big news! We finished the weekend enjoying a stay at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, making this an extra special weekend to remember.
