Our Story
How We Met
Braden and Bri met during the COVID-19 pandemic while Braden was living in Virginia and working remotely from Greensburg, and Bri was living in Pittsburgh and working in Greensburg. They hung out for the first time at BY Park on May 28th, 2020, and from that moment forward, they were inseparable, spending the rest of the summer together until Braden had to return to Virginia. Fortunately, Braden was able to gradually relocate closer and closer, but the two of them had to manage a long distance relationship for the better part of two years while working full-time jobs and completing their respective graduate programs. Braden and Bri remain inseparable and look forward to a life together.
The Proposal
Although Braden purchased the ring in November, he proposed to Bri on December 24th, 2022, while they were exchanging Christmas gifts. He proposed the same way his grandfather proposed to his grandmother almost sixty years earlier, wrapping the ring box inside of numerous other larger boxes to disguise the surprise.
