How We Met
We met through a mutual friend when we were 15; Tag thought "That girl with the blue hair is pretty cute" (Was it just a phase? I guess we'll find out!) and Avery thought "Why does he have a full beard at 15 years old?" (Most definitely not just a phase...) God knew when the time was right and brought us together when we were both ready in 2023, shortly after Tag started working with Avery's dad and brother. The rest was history!
The Proposal
A trip to Meridian State Park to "take some pictures together" turned into the beginning of our life together when Tag asked Avery to pose for a picture, but to her surprise, she turned around to see Tag down on one knee with a ring. I don't think either one of us remember the exact words the other said, other than "Will you...?" and "YES!"
