Our Story
How We Met
Drew and I met through mutual friends probably 8-9 years ago now. After years of friendship, we decided to give dating a go and the rest is history! We truly are each other's best friends and couldn't imagine life without each other after all this time. We cannot wait to start on the next chapter of our lives together!
The Proposal
The summer of 2022 we went on the trip of a lifetime with family. Neither of us had ever left the country to travel, so when we decided to take a trip to Europe, we knew we were in for something special. After traveling the countryside of France and Switzerland, we arrived at our last destination Italy! Having always wanted to go to Italy this was a huge bucket list moment for me. The second to last day of our trip we spent in Rome, exploring the Spanish steps among other sites. After a long afternoon, Drew proposed in one of the gardens. I won't lie, I originally thought he was joking and didn't think the proposal was serious. I even walked away at one point in shock! However, after realizing this was really happening, I of course said yes!
