Our Story
How We Met
It was a casual first date. We'd been chatting online for a little bit and decided to meet up. Jake picked the time and place. The River Bend Bar and Grill. I laughed as I knew it was previously called, and has since changed it's name back to, The Dirty Shame. I happened to love that place. We hit it off and the rest is history.
The Proposal
Jake made reservations at MDRD. Being the fall, he wanted us to be able to look out the windows and see the fall foliage. Once we were seated and had ordered drinks, we walked to a window to look out over the city. The colors were beautiful and the evening was clear. When I turned around, I was surprised with the most gorgeous ring. He asked me to marry him and I said " a thousand times YES!".
