Our Story
How We Met
How else did anyone who has been in a three-year relationship, to date, meet?! At the grocery store, during Covid, fighting off the crazies for water and toilet paper when all of a sudden, we became cornered in Aisle 7 and decided to become allies to defeat the enemies! Orrrrrrr....something like that :)
Isaac and I went to the same junior high and high school. We knew of each other, but we had never spoken to one another. It wasn't until years later when everyone's lives were turned upside down and we went into a lockdown. The seclusion drove both of our introverted selves out of our comfort zone to the only way that anyone could communicate...we became FB friends (insert gasp). We had mutual friends and noticed that we had the same humor. I mean, 95% of the time, we were sharing the same memes, and that's practically a wedding proposal right there ;) We spent three months becoming best friends, but due to the circumstances, we didn't get to meet in person until several months later.
I've always been a believer that we don't meet people by accident...they are meant to cross our paths for either a reason, a season, or a lifetime. The day we met, I knew Isaac was going to be in mine for a lifetime...and now I get to be married to him foreverrrrr! Sorry Isaac, no take-backs. I guess the rest you can say is "Pandemic History" <3
The Proposal
This is a memory that we will always hold near and dear to our hearts...it involves a memory of Isaac's dad being with us and a memory of Isaac proposing in the same city where my dad proposed to my mom in New Mexico. We couldn't have asked for anything more special and we will always carry those memories in our hearts.
For us, winter is our favorite time of the year, so of course we wanted a Christmas Wedding surrounded by our families and friends. We are excited for you to join us this Christmas...
