How We Met
Jared saw Emily play a basketball game against his high school in 2016 and he had asked people who she was and messaged her later on during Spring Break. He then went on into the Army and she finished high school and continued on to Western Carolina University. After talking for several months, once time allowed, the two met up in a Walmart parking lot, started dating on October 22, 2021, and the rest is history!
The Proposal
Jared proposed to Emily on November 5th, 2022 at the Asheville Arboretum. Jared distracted Emily by walking all around the garden while his mom, grandmother, and cousin set up decorations for the perfect proposal spot!
