Our Story
How We Met
Autumn and Mo met at the University of Toledo in August 2021. Autumn was a Resident Assistant at Parks Tower. Autumn was tasked with moving the freshmen into their dorms with her fellow resident assistants. Mo was volunteering with his fraternity, Kappa Delta Rho, to assist the freshmen. Autumn and Mo partnered up to help the new freshmen into their dorms. They found many similarities in each other and decided to go for coffee the next day. After that coffee date, Mo and Autumn just knew they were perfect for one another and have been by each other's side since. They have both been busy graduating college, beginning new careers, and creating memories as a couple. They now have two beautiful fur babies, Atlas and Artemis! They can't wait to get married and start their new life together as husband and wife!
The Proposal
Mo planned the ultimate surprise proposal for Autumn. However, Autumn and Mo had work conflicts, so he planned a "Valentine's date". Mo started the date by taking Autumn to the coffee shop, Earth. Mo then took Autumn to the Toledo Art Museum. While at the museum, Mo began an intense covert operation of messaging both Autumn's family and his, about times and locations to be there for the proposal. Mo then took Autumn to Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano for lunch which provided Autumn's family more time to arrive. After lunch, Autumn and Mo went to Books A Million where Autumn scoured the bookshelves to see if anything piqued her interest. It was then on to the final destination of the surprise date, the Toledo Zoo. Mo took Autumn to the Orchid Fest the zoo was holding. The first flower Mo bought Autumn, while dating, was an orchid. Orchids also happen to be her favorite flower. After walking around the orchid displays, they headed towards the greenhouse. Mo brought Autumn to a secluded area within the trees and bushes, where he got down on one knee and proposed. Autumn was completely taken by surprise at the proposal! She was also surprised to find out that her family and Mo's family, were hiding in the bushes watching and taking photos. It was no surprise that Autumn's answer was yes!
