Our Story
How We Met
As many of y'all know, Zach and I both worked together at Lake Wheeler Park in Raleigh, NC. Zach had already been working there for a few years when I started working in 2019. Beginning as coworkers (technically he was my boss LOL) who just make small talk now and again, little did we know that a year later, in 2020, our lives would be changed forever. Zach and I began dating on July 15, 2020. Through a pandemic, losing my mom, graduating college, and us both starting our careers, Zach and I's relationship endured a great amount of change in just a short amount of time. However, through it all, we leaned on each other, and our relationship ultimately grew stronger.
The Proposal
Zach and I planned to spend a few days in the mountains to celebrate my 23rd birthday. Little did I know that he had more in mind. On October, 24, 2021, Zach asked me to marry him in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in front of a BEAUTIFUL scene of mountains . Of course, it was a big "YES!" from me.
