Our Story
How We Met
It’s funny how Jehovah answers our prayers. It seems as though when you stop looking, when you pray to be content with being single, that Jehovah decides to find the perfect person for you.
We met through mutual friends. The connection was visible from the beginning.
After immediately hitting it off we started dating on September 18, 2022.
Spending time together felt natural from day one, as if there was never a time we weren’t together. Our closest friends could see the positive change. The glow in our faces, the happiness in our lives, the smiles we couldn’t seem to quite get rid of, were constantly apparent as we kept dating.
Each day seemed to fly by together. It became clear pretty quickly that planning for something more was needed…
The Proposal
That planning brought us to one rainy April morning that turned into a perfect afternoon in a park. Although raining all day, the skies seemed to clear just for us.
With his bones cracking (despite how many times he practiced at home) he went down on one knee. The anticipation of the big day, the nerves, the feel of opening the box…every effort was worth it to see the look on her face.
One word, one response, can really change two lives for the better.
“Yes!”
