How We Met
Thomas and Courtney met through mutual friends. Thomas finally asked Courtney out after spending a weekend in Santa Barbara with her celebrating their friend's wedding. After Courtney forcefully pulled Thomas onto the dance floor, Thomas quickly realized he needed this bossy girl in his life. They arranged to have their first date in San Francisco the following weekend. Thomas ended the date by losing his car keys but managed to still secure a second date with Courtney. They've spent every weekend together since.
The Proposal
Thomas proposed to Courtney while they were skiing in March 2024, he knew he wouldn't catch her with her hair and nails done so a helmet and ski gloves were the next best thing. Thomas proposed at the top of Bear Valley Ski resort where he caught Courtney by such surprise, she was still holding her ski poles when he got down on one knee.
