Willington is located in western Connecticut near the University of Connecticut campus.
From the southwest:
Follow I-84 east until exit 69 for Willington/Putnam. Turn right onto CT-74E for ~2 miles. Turn left onto Jared Sparks Rd and follow for 2 miles.
From the northwest:
Follow 1-91 south until you reach Hartford CT. Then follow I-84 east until exit 69 for Willington/Putnam. Turn right onto CT-74E for ~2 miles. Turn left onto Jared Sparks Rd and follow for 2 miles.
From the northeast:
Follow I-90 south towards CT. Take exit 71 for I-84. Take Turnpike Rd and Moose Meadow Rd to Jared Sparks Rd.
From the southeast (New Haven):
Take I-91 north and follow the signs for I-84E. Follow I-84 east until exit 69 for Willington/Putnam. Turn right onto CT-74E for ~2 miles. Turn left onto Jared Sparks Rd and follow for 2 miles.
Flying:
Bradley International Airport located in Windsor Locks CT. From there, it is approximately 40 minute drive.

The UConn Dairy Bar opened in 1953 to sell dairy products that were made by the Creamery. The Creamery was established in the early 1900s and bottled milk all the way up until 1991.
Today, the Creamery makes ice cream according to its original recipe and sells this ice cream through the Dairy Bar retail establishment, along with a variety of cheeses.
