How We Met
Our journey began in Kansas City, where we first met at work shortly after Ryan moved to the city following college. At first Courtney was annoyed by the new guy sitting next to her, but she eventually warmed up. What started as a simple friendship—filled with adventures exploring new restaurants and hidden gems around the city—blossomed into a relationship. We spent three years together in Kansas City before moving to Omaha last fall. Today, we love spending time traveling, trying new hobbies, and cherishing every moment with our families. We are beyond excited to continue this incredible journey together.
The Proposal
We traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, last spring for friends' wedding. Ryan proposed on the Lake Michigan waterfront in front of some friends. Courtney could tell something was up because Ryan was acting so weird. He finally popped the question.
