Our Story
How We Met
Dave and I both started working at Cigna together back in 2013, we were in the same claims processing class together and have been friends ever since. We stayed connected on Facebook and as our friendship grew we decided to go on a date! On our first date we went to Maiolatesi Winery for a wine tasting. We had perfect weather and amazing pizza and peach wine slushies. After that we went to Lahey Family Fun Park and I whooped his butt in mini golf! The rest is history!
The Proposal
Dave and I wanted (well let’s be real, I wanted) to go to a sunflower field to pick some sunflowers to bring home, and get some amazing photos as well. We went to VonThun’s Farm in New Jersey. We found some awesome spots to take pictures and got some really pretty sunflowers and wild flowers. Before we went to take the hayride a woman said they had some white sunflowers in the back where it was roped off. So of course we had to check it out! We found the white sunflowers and I also found Dave down on one knee asking me to marry him! It could not have been a more perfect day. 🖤
