Our Story
How We Met
After spending 2 years together from 2016-2018 followed by 3 years apart, the phrase, "Everything happens for a reason" truly plays a huge part in our relationship. Sometimes it takes time apart to realize how much you truly need someone in your life. In September of 2021, we knew it was meant to be and pursued a relationship-again! Since we have been together there has been endless laughs, memories, projects, and a lot of "I'm dating my ex-girlfriend/boyfriend" jokes. We live for the same lifestyle, a lifestyle that is smothered in making memories by traveling, boating, spending time with our families, hanging out with friends, going to the beach every weekend all summer long, indulging in a lot of orange crushes, cracking jokes, and pure happiness.
The Proposal
On August 20th, 2022, the warm sun rose leaving a day full of fun summer memories ahead. Imagine a day where everything was "go with the flow", but opposite. Plans changed time and time again. The sun shifted over us as it does every day. While under the sun, we lived our normal life: breakfast on the deck, a boat ride with friends, a casual tow home, & a BBQ with friends. Another day of memories and laughs in the book. As we typically do, we ended the day with a sunset booze cruise. The sky was a picture perfect, orange and yellow sunset, that gave us exactly what we drove out to Turkey Point to see. As always, Bryn was busy taking pictures of her friends as the sun was only making the moment more beautiful than the moment just before it. As Bryn and Nick took the bow of the boat for their picture, Nick got down on one knee and made Bryn's dreams a reality. As the sky held true in color, Nick held a ring, an heirloom, in his hands asking Bryn to spend the rest of their lives together. The golden sun set on the west making August 20th, 2022 to be the best day of our lives thus far. This was truly the greatest love story. <3
